The camera NTP synchronization function of the server is disabled by default. You must enable the camera NTP synchronization function for the server. After the camera NTP synchronization function is enabled, cameras will automatically synchronize time from the access server.
For cameras that comply with the HWSDK or ONVIF protocol, enable the camera NTP synchronization function on the OMU portal of the access server. After the camera NTP synchronization function is enabled, cameras will automatically synchronize time from the access server. The procedure is as follows:
- Log in to the OMU portal of the VCN server.
- Choose .
- Select the VCN server, set Module name to SCU and Parameter type to System property, and click Search.
- From the search results, click Edit in the line where Parameter name is set to NTPIPC, and set Value to 1.
- Click save. The camera NTP synchronization function is enabled.
After the camera NTP synchronization function is enabled, cameras will automatically synchronize time from the access server.
