SMC2.0 is a resource pool concept and does not have N+1 backup. MCUs in the same service area are backed up by default. You do not need to set them. If multiple MCUs are in different service areas, you can set the backup service area to implement backup.

For example: There are four MCUs. The A, B, C, and D has four service areas, namely, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Chengdu. You can set the backup service area of the Beijing MCU to Shanghai -- Guangzhou -- Chengdu by using the backup service area. After the setting, if the MCU resources in Beijing are insufficient, resources will be searched in the order of Shanghai -- Guangzhou --- Chengdu.
