How Do I Monitor CRC error and Up/Down Events of Switch Interfaces?

If you want to monitor the CRC error and interface up/down events, you can use NMS to monitor it. However, if you want to check the CRC error on the switch, you can use the command “display counters error” and it will show which interface has the CRC error:



Also, if the CRC error increases or the interface up/down event occurs, the switch will generate traps like below. You can check the traps using the command “display trapbuffer”.
