Hello Huawei,

How do I modify the camera network parameters in batches.

I have more than 40 cameras, I do not want to modify them one by one.

It is not easy to modify 40 cameras one by one.

Best regards

Hello Alexandru

You can download the IPC tool and configure the cameras in batches.

10.1       Setting Basic NetworkParameters

You can set basic network parameters, including the maximum transmission unit (MTU) size and quality of service (QoS)of media/signaling streams, for cameras.

l  The MTU is the largest packet of data that can be transmitted on anetwork.

l  The QoS measures the quality of the transmission system and theeffectiveness of the services, as well as the capability of a service providerto meet the demands of users.

Procedure

Step1    From thecamera list, select one camera or multiple cameras of the same model.

Step2 Choose Settings > Configuration, or click How do I modify the camera network parameters in batches.-3063805-1 in the shortcut toolbar.

NOTE

To open the Configuration dialog box, you can alsoright-click the camera list and choose SetParameter For Selected Camera (s) from the shortcut menu.

The Configurationdialog box is displayed.

Step3 Choose Network Configuration > Network Parameters.

The NetworkParameters tab page is displayed, as shown in Figure 10-1.

                    Step4 Set basicnetwork parameters.

                                   1.   Select MTU value and set the MTU value.

NOTE

Ifthe IPv6 functions are enabled, the MTU value must fall within the range from1280 to 1500.

                                   2.  Select Media stream DSCP or Signalingstream DSCP, and set the QoS value.

A larger value indicates higher QoS. The largest value is 63.

                    Step5  Click OK.

A confirm dialog box is displayed. Click OK.
