Q: How do I log in to the U2980 using the LMT?
A: Start the LMT (also called the CDE) and log in to the LMT as the admin user.
Obtaining the LMT
Visit http://support.huawei.com/enterprise and search for eSpace U2980.
Select the right version and download 03_LMT.rar.
Procedure
Step 1
Double-click 
to
start the LMT.
The Login dialog box is displayed.
Step 2 Enter the user name and password (admin/eSpaceU2900).
Step 3 Add a server.

Click 
next to the server.
2. Click Add.
The Add dialog box is displayed.
3. Set server parameters and click OK.
Set the IP address to that of the OMU board.
Step 4 Select Local from the User type drop-down list box.
Step 5 Click Login.
A dialog box is displayed, asking you to select the managed element (ME) version.
Select the U2980.
