If HwUVPUpgrade.exe is closed, the upgrade icon is no longer displayed. Open HwUVPUpgrade.exe by using either of the following two methods:

Method 1

Step 1 On the VM desktop, choose Start > Run.

Step 2 Type cmd and press Enter.

Step 3 At the command prompt, run the following command:

1. On the 32-bit VM, run "C:\Program Files\Xen PV Drivers\bin\HwUVPUpgrade.exe" –s.
2. On the 64-bit VM, run "C:\Program Files (x86) \Xen PV Drivers\bin\HwUVPUpgrade.exe" –s
Step 4 Make the upgrade icon recur.
