How Do I Do If Upgrading a PV Driver Whose Version Is Earlier Than 1.1.5.41 Causes the Loss of Static IP Address of the SUSE 10 Series VM?

When the SUSE 10 series VM is upgraded for the first time, and the source version of the PV driver is earlier than 1.1.5.41, the static IP address is lost. What can be done?

To reconfigure the VM IP address, perform the following steps:

Step 1 Log in to the VM as the root user using VNC.

Step 2 Reallocate a static IP address for the VM.
