Check whether the MA5620 and MA5626 use GPON or EPON as follows:
Method 1: Check the bar code on the device.
A bar code SN indicates GPON.
A bar code MAC address indicates EPON.
Method 2: Run the display board 0/0 command remotely or locally, and determine the EPON/GPON upstream port according to the returned Port Type.
If the upstream port is in adaptive mode, install the EPON/GPON optical module on the upstream OLT.
Command: port mode 0/0 /1 epon/gpon. You can also manually change the upstream type of the upstream port to install the corresponding optical module.
Method 3: Run the display pon sn command to check the authentication parameters of the PON port on the device.
If the query result is GPON SN, it indicates GPON.
If the query result is EPON MAC, it indicates EPON.
