The Eth-trunk interface is static and does not run any protocol. Every Eth-trunk member interface can receive and send packets. The Cisco channel-group mode must be set to on, indicating no negotiation. (The command is channel-group [num] mode [ auto | on | desirable ], in which auto indicates passive negotiation, on indicates no negotiation, and desirable indicates proactive negotiation.)
If the USG Eth-trunk interface is connected to a Huawei switch, the link-aggregation mode must be set to manual.
