Hello, everyone!

This post will tell you one issue for how can OSN 3500 and 9500 share the same cabinet.

Problem description

The user asks if 3500 and 9500 can be placed in the same cabinet and what are the precautions?

Handling procedure

NA

Root cause

NA.

Solution

1. OSN 3500 and 9500 can be in the same cabinet.

2. The user needs to provide two 100A air switches.

3. The cabinet alarm indicators of the OSN 9500 and the NGSDH cannot be cascaded.

4. Since the signal definitions are different and the connectors are different, the Boolean values cannot be cascaded. You may cascade the alarm indicators of the NG and then connect them to the cabinet alarm indicators.

5. The OSN 9500 at one end needs a 63A air switch, while the OSN 3500 at the other end needs a 20A air switch.
