Viewing the Serial Number Label Attached to the Device
Serial number labels are attached to AR enterprise routers. You can view these labels to obtain the serial numbers of AR routers. For an AR router that cannot have MPUs installed, its serial number label is attached to the rear panel of the router. For an AR router that can have cards installed, its serial number label is attached to the chassis. The number following SN or ESN on the label indicates the serial number of the device.
Obtain the Serial Number Using a Command.
Log in to the device through Telnet or a console port, and run the display esn command in the user view to view the device serial number.

Obtain the Serial Number Through the Web System.
Log in to the web system page, choose , and select from the drop-down list box on the upper right corner of the page. in indicates the serial number.
