[How] can I use eSight to deploy simple switch config changes?

Hi Community – I’m wondering if there might be some help out there for me. We have recently installed eSIght on an existing client network. The network includes circa 160 stacks of S5720 switches, all of which have very similar configurations.

I now find myself needing to make a small configuration change to all of these stacks (literally two lines) – and the change is identical across them all. To be clear: I am not wanting to deploy new configuration files to the switches - what I want is to modify & save the running config (i.e. no switch reloads).

I can probably create a scripted SSH login to do this – but before doing so I thought I’d ask: Is there some way that I can use eSIght to automate deployment of these config changes?

If not then to save me re-inventing the wheel; is there someone out there who has already done this with scripts that is willing to share?

Thanks in advance

Hello,
You can use the Smart Configuration Tool of the eSight to deliver configuration commands to NEs by one click.

For details, please refer to https://support.huawei.com/hedex/hdx.do?docid=EDOC1000184142&id=eSight_hlp_sct_00001&lang=en

Excellent - exactly what I was looking for (and something I should have found by myself in the documentation).

Thank you @Popeye_Wang - especially for the very quick response!
