Perform the following operations to upgrade and combine license files:
NOTICE: Before upgrading a license file, ensure that the version of the controller software is the same as that of the license file after it is upgraded. If the version of the controller software is different from that of the license file, run the upgradesys command to upgrade the version of the controller software. For details, see the OceanStor XXXX Storage System Command Reference. XXXX indicates a model of a product. Before combining license files, ensure that customer names, versions, and product models of the license files are the same. If license file versions are different, upgrade license files to the target version. 1. Send license files that you want to upgrade or combine to and note your requirements. For example, you want to upgrade a license file or combine license files. NOTE: You can obtain the email address form the bottom of the license file in paper. The email address in this document is for reference only. Obtain the correct email address based on actual conditions. Technical support personnel will send a confirmation email to you. 2. Reply to the email to confirm the license upgrade or combination. The technical support personnel generate a license file after the upgrade or combination and sent the license file to you by email. Under normal conditions, the upgrade or combination takes about 30 minutes. 3. Import the license file that you have received to your storage device. |
