How Can I Synchronize Time of Cameras

Q: How can I synchronize time of cameras?

A: You can configure the (Network Time Protocol) NTP time synchronization mode for the cameras to synchronize time of the cameras.

What is NTP?

NTP can be used to implement time synchronization between cameras and servers on the network.

How can I configure NTP for cameras?

Step 1 On the web page of cameras, choose Settings > System > Time Settings. The Time Settings page is displayed, as shown in the following figure. (Note: The page of the V200R003 version is used as an example. The configuration path and page may be different in other versions, and the configuration method is similar.)

Step 2 Select NTP and enter the IP address of the server following NTP server, as shown in the following figure.

Step 3 Click Save.
