1. Log in to DeviceManager.
2. Choose
Provisioning
>
Storage
Pool.
3. Select the storage pool whose capacity you want to modify and click Modify Capacity.
The Modify Capacity dialog box is displayed.
4. In Operation, select a mode to modify the capacity. The modes are Expand capacity and Reduce capacity. Select Reduce capacity.
a) Select the storage tier whose capacity you want to reduce.
b) In Reduction Capacity, enter the capacity that you want to reduce.

Note:
- You cannot reduce the capacity of every chunk group in a storage pool using the capacity modification function. This function is realized based on chunk groups. You can reduce the capacity of a chunk group only when all chunks in the chunk group are idle. For example, the NL-SAS storage tier adopts RAID 6 (26D+2P) and has 28 chunks in a chunk group. If a chunk has data while other chunks are idle, you cannot reduce the capacity of the chunk group.
