Installing the UltraPath for Windows software on the application server
After correctly installing the UltraPath for Windows software and obtaining system storage resources, run program Launch UPManager.exe. The UltraPath for Windows Manager page is displayed. Click the All LUNs IO Count tab page. Paths available on controllers are displayed, as shown in Figure 1. Figure 1 Querying path information using controllers 
Installing the UltraPath for AIX software on the application server
Run lspath on the command-line interface. All paths are displayed. When the path status is Failed, I/O operations fail. The path is unavailable. When the path status is Missing, the path exists but cannot be detected since last restart of the application server.
