Product and version information: VTL3500 V100R002

Power off the VTL3500 on the VTL Console.

In the navigation tree of the VTL Console, right-click the host name of the VTL3500. Choose System maintenance > Stop to power off the VTL3500.

Power off the VTL3500 on the command-line interface (CLI).

1. Use CLI management software such as the PuTTY to log in to the VTL3500.The default user name and password are root and Admin@storage.

2. Run the init 0 command on the CLI to power off the VTL3500.

Power off the VTL3500 on the Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI).

1. In the Internet Explorer address box, enter the IP address of the IPMI management port to go to the hardware monitoring and management login page.

2. Type the user name and password. Click Login to go to the hardware monitoring and management page.

3. In the navigation tree, click Boot Device. In the function pane, click Shutdown.

4. Click OK to power off the VTL3500.
