How Can I log Into My Huawei H122-373 5G Router Over The Internet Please?

Hello.

I have configured port forwarding (virtual server) on my new Huawei 5G router that forwards to a camera pluged into the router and it works great; I can now access the camera from anywhere in the world......but.....the 5G router will not let me forward a port to its own IP address of 192.168.8.1 or even to 127.0.0.1 which means I cannot figure out how I might be able to log into my Huawei 5G router from anywhere in the world, which I really would like to do please?

Obviously I would set a strong password!

H122-373 is a consumers device.


I understand your requirements. you want to remotely access H122-373 through Telnet, but port forwarding cannot be implemented to remotely access the device. Due to device security restrictions, the web and access ports of the device need to be accessed through local network cables.


Since H122-373 is a consumer device, you can remotely access and manage the device through the AI Life on your phone.
