Choose Tools > Internet Options on the tool bar of the IE browser. The Internet Options dialog box is displayed. Select the Connection tab. Click LAN Settings. The Local Area Network (LAN) Settings dialog box is displayed, as shown in Figure 1. Figure 1 LAN settings
Set the proxy server by using either of the following methods: Not using a proxy server Deselect Use a proxy server for your LAN (These settings will not apply to dial-up or VPN connections). Click OK to close the Local Area Network (LAN) Settings dialog box. Click OK to close the Internet Options dialog box. Using a proxy server and setting the IP address of an eAPP610 server as an exception Select Use a proxy server for your LAN (These settings will not apply to dial-up or VPN connections) and Bypass Proxy Server for Local Addresses. Click Advanced. The Proxy Settings dialog box is displayed. Input the IP address of the server in the text box of Exceptions, as shown in Figure 2. Figure 2 Proxy Settings (example)
Click OK to close the Proxy Settings dialog box. Click OK to close the Local Area Network (LAN) Settings dialog box. Click OK to close the Internet Options dialog box.
