HiCoins as reward: 0 (problem unresolved)

Hi, Community!

How to download the configuration file from IVS for backup purpose? I can't find the document now, and I noticed that the product has been discontinued and the relevant information can't be found.

That's my problem. Please help me.

Thank you!

Hello, linked!

Default Backup Path

  • In non-RAID mode, the default path for storing backup data is /diskmount/000*.

  • In RAID 1 or RAID 5 mode, the default path for storing backup data is /opt/SmartData_D/G0_*.

Default Backup Time

  • In case of automatic backup, the system performs backup at 02:04, 06:04, 10:04, 14:04, 18:04, or 22:04 automatically. Backup can be performed only once a day. For example, if the system has backed up data at 02:04, the system will not perform backup at any other time point in the current day.

  • In case of manual backup, users can perform backup for multiple times. For example, after automatic backup, users can still perform manual backup.

Note:

The system reserves data that is backed up of the recent seven times. When you continue to perform backup, the data that is backed up of the latest time will overwrite the earliest backup data.

Each disk stores data that is backed up of the recent seven times. However, a maximum of six disks store backup data. For example, if the VCN540 is fully configured with eight disks, six of them store backup data. Additionally, the hot spare disk does not store backup data

Hope the answer can help you.

you can use automatic backup and also can restore the configuration by "using data safe function" which is already enabled by default
