Prerequisites:
- The TC and TCM can communicate with each other, and a takeover is available.
- The TC version meets the requirement. If the TC version is not the required one, upgrade it to the required one.
Procedure
Configuring an IP address for the TC
1. Start the TC.
2. Click Control Center in the lower left corner.
3. Double-click Network.
The Network window is displayed.
4. Click Property.
The Network Card window is displayed.
5. Configure the IP address:
- Teacher's TC: Select use the following IP address and enter the planned TC IP address.
- Student's TC: Select obtain an IP address automatically.
6. Click Save.
The TC IP address is configured.
Configuring an IP address for the TCM
7. Click CCCM Agent in the control center.
The CCCM Agent window is displayed.
8. Enter the server and port IP addresses on the specified management server and click OK.
9. Enter the password and click OK.
The TCM IP address is configured.
Configuring a terminal name
10. Click Network in the control center.
The Network window is displayed.
11. Click the General tab.
12. On the Terminal page, click Modify.
The Terminal Name window is displayed.
13. Change the terminal name to the planned one and click OK
14. Click OK.
The configuration is complete.
Managing TC groups
15. Log in to the TCM platform.
16. On the Client Group tab page, the TC with the configured terminal name is automatically obtained and automatically grouped based on the terminal name.
