How Can I Configure the FTP Server

Hi dear,

Configure the FTP server before using it to download software, data configuration files, and license files on the LMT.

The configuration procedure is as follows:

 Step 1     (Optional) Download the FTP server software. Perform this step only when there is no FTP server on the LMT PC.

1.         In the upper right corner of the LMT main window, click FTP Tool.

2.         The File Download-Security Warning dialog box is displayed.

3.         Click Save to save the FTP server software SFTPServer.exe to the LMT PC.

Step 2     Double-click SFTPServer.exe.

SFTPServer.exe is decompressed to an SFTPServer folder.

Step 3     Open SFTPServer and double-click SFTPServer.exe to start the FTP server.

The  icon is displayed on the right side of the taskbar after the FTP server is started.

Step 4     (Optional) If the FTP server starts for the first time, the FTP password config dialog box is displayed, prompting you to change the password of the FTP server, as shown in the following figure. Enter the default password hwbs@com and the new password. Then, confirm the new password.

Step 5     Configure the FTP server information.

1.         Double-click .

The FTP server configuration dialog box is displayed, as shown in the following figure.

2.         Set User name, Password, and Working directory.

The default user name is admin.

Set Working directory to the root directory of the FTP server (for example, D:\FTP).

Retain default values for other parameters.

3.         Click OK.

The FTP server configuration is complete.

After double click on the .exe  file go to system tray and right click over the green icon as the photo below, choose "FTP server configure"

Choose a working directory and check "Plain text", you will be prompted to enter a password. The default password of the FTP server is the same as default password of eNodeB WebLMT.
