Q: How Can I configur the call rights of the U1900?
A: The U1900 series unified gateway allows users to make intra-office call, local call, national toll call, and international toll call. In addition, a maximum of 32 types of call rights can be defined to restrict users from making specified types of calls. For detailed configuration, you can log in to the web management system of the U1900 series unified gateway to configure the call rights.
What's call rights?
Four service levels are available: default, common, advanced, and super. Different service levels correspond to different basic call rights, and the call rights can be controlled by time segment. This allows users at a certain level to have certain call rights within a specified time segment.
The call rights of the U1900 series unified gateway include basic call rights and customized call rights.
l Unified gateway classifies a user's incoming and outgoing call rights into the following types:
− inter:intra-office call
− local:local call
− ddd:national toll call
− idd:international toll call
The following table lists the default basic call rights at each service level:

l To control call expenses, you can limit the duration of a single national toll call and that of a single international toll call respectively. When the duration of a user's toll call reaches the preset duration, the system automatically terminates the call and locks the user's toll call rights.
l By default, the system supports a maximum of 30 concurrent international toll calls. This value can be adjusted based on actual requirements. If the maximum number of concurrent international toll calls is exceeded, the international toll call rights are locked globally.
l Customized call rights
Unified Gateway U1900 provide 32 levels of customized call rights, which can be used with related call prefixes to restrict calls of specified users.
For example, if the cus1 customized right is configured for outgoing prefix 9 and user 7000, only user 7000 can dial prefix 9 to make outgoing calls.
