How Can I Check Whether White-box UltraPath Takes Effect?

You can use the one of the following methods:

1. esxcfg-scsidevs -l

   Run the command to view UltraPath information. Find a LUN that is mapped to the host, and then check the property of Multipath Plugin. If NMP is displayed, NMP takes over devices. If MP_PLUGIN_ULTRAPATH is displayed, white-box UltraPath takes over devices.

   

   
   

2. esxcli storage core chaimrule list

   If the ESIOO vendor name has been added correctly, you can run this command to check EISOO claim rules. If NMP is displayed in the plugin column, NMP takes over devices. If MP_PLUGIN_ULTRAPATH is displayed, white-box UltraPath takes over devices.
