How can I access (remote) devices via a VPN with a B535-232?

Hi friend.

The B535-232 supports L2TP VPN clients and PPTP VPN clients.  You do not need to download an app on your phone to use it. However, you need to set the correct connection parameters on the router's management page.

Includes the address, account, and password of the VPN server (you need to select the VPN service provider supported by your ISP).

I am almost certainly out of my depth here; all I want to be able to do is (occasionally) to access the network enabled devices wall mounted panel heaters from my home.

I have Internet access at my home and assumed that by entering the IP address for the Huawei B535-232 I could control the heaters - in effect making them part of my home LAN.

Is this possible?
