hi, i'm trying to understand how atm pvc works. if i use this command on a huaweii router:

map ip { ip-address | default | inarp [ minutes ] } [ broadcast ]

undo map ip [ ip-address | default | inarp ]

what is the differents about the sintax and the option ? if i use the command MAP IP DEFAULT what does it means ? and if i use map ip X.X.X.X broadcast ? what kind of message use atm to logically create a pvc ? it use the same LMI message that use frame relay ?

how is it possibile that on a ATM network the value for VCI / VPI are always the same (8/35) but you can have multiple pvc ?

can someone explain to me in a simple way how a pvc is made with atm ?
