High usage issue on six RH1288 V3 servers

Today I will tell you how to solve the high usage issue on six RH1288 V3 servers.

【Problem description】

At a customer site, the I/O usage is high on six RH1288 V3 servers running MySQL database services.

【Problem analysis】

1. OS version: the Linux kernel version is earlier than that of RHEL 6.5, which has a bug in the iostat command. The solution is to upgrade the kernel.

The OS is not a standard one. The kernel version is based on a Linux kernel 4.1.0, later than that of RHEL 6.5. Therefore, the OS does not involve this problem.

2. Log analysis:

The firmware version of the ES3000 is V2.43.

【Solution description】

The problem is caused by a bug in the firmware of ES3000. So upgrade the firmware and the problem will be solved.
