HG8546M - provisioning mode - impossible to change LAN DHCP server address?

Hello, team!

I would like to ask you for help.

There is an HG8546M router in my house which is owned by ISP.  I'm a VPN to my work which is unfortunately within the same address range as the LAN DHCP server provides (192.168.100.x). My ISP provider refused my ask for a change to e.g. 192.168.99.x and their explanation was that "All our units are in provisioning mode and we can't do anything with that".

Their advice "buy another home router and make changes there" sounds very inappropriate to me, so I would like to ask you for any other suitable solution.

For enterprise network products:

Log in to the ONT WebUI as an administrator. In the navigation tree on the left, choose LAN > DHCP Server Configuration.Then, perform related configurations.


HG8546M


However, the HG8546M is a carrier series product. DHCP is delivered by the ISP server. According to your description, the configuration of the HG8546M is preset and cannot be modified later. Therefore, we cannot provide effective help for you.
