ISSUE DESCRIPTION


I just got an HG8245Q2 and I need to open ports for IP cameras. 


POSSIBLE SOLUTION


I have tried port forwarding and port trigger, but it's not working. Any other ideas or steps to undertake in order to have HG8245Q2 open ports?

You need to configure on the OLT side. For example:
 
 ont-srvprofile gpon profile-id 1 profile-name "TEST"
 ont-port pots adaptive 32 eth adaptive 8 catv adaptive 8
 port vlan eth 1 transparent
 port vlan eth 2 transparent
 port vlan eth 3 transparent
 port vlan eth 4 transparent
 commit
 
 ont-lineprofile gpon profile-id 1 profile-name "TEST"
 tcont 1 dba-profile-id 10
 gem add 1 eth tcont 1
 gem mapping 1 0 vlan 10
 commit
 quit
 
vlan 10 smart
port vlan 10 0/2 2
 
ont add 0 0 sn-auth "xxxxxxxxxxxxx" omci ont-lineprofile-id 1
ont-srvprofile-id 1 desc "ONT_NO_DESCRIPTION"
 
ont port native-vlan 1 0 eth 1 vlan 10
ont port native-vlan 1 0 eth 2 vlan 10
