Hello everyone!


I'm looking for information about the logging levels in HG8245Q2.

I'd like to log events regarding ethernet port status. (like flapping)

Is there a way to log this kind of thing? How to change the default log level either by WebUI or console? What does each level mean? I know, that there's a special command in console EG8145V5, but it seems in HG8245Q2 with S138 there's no such thing.

hello ，

Could you please kindly clarify your purpose ? to monitor the eth port up or down  event ?
how many ont you have , you want to monitor it from the OLT （from OLT can allow the ont eth port event or alarm， but it is not recommend，too many logs will cause the OLT database overflow）or only from the ONT to monitor it （ONT logs is hard to get the logs ）?
and Could you please clarify what is S138 , how it works with the HG8245Q2 ；
