The manual don't relly give any details about this and I can't find how to make a VLAN work in bridge mode.
I have 4 VLANs,
10 VOICE
20 IPTV
30 DATA
40 MANAGEMENT
10, 30 and 40 all work fine in route mode, I get a IP address for each VLANs. 20 for IPTV is in bridge mode but can seem to work fine. If I set it in route mode, the IPTV WAN receive a DHCP lease juste fine
1_VOIP_R_VID_10 Connected DHCP 10.20.10.10 255.255.255.0 10/6 AA:AA:AA:AA:AA:AA AlwaysOn
2_IPTV_R_VID_20 Connected DHCP 10.20.20.10 255.255.255.0 20/5 AA:AA:AA:AA:AA:AB AlwaysOn
3_INTERNET_R_VID_30 Connected DHCP 10.20.30.10 255.255.255.0 30/0 AA:AA:AA:AA:AA:AC AlwaysOn
4_TR069_R_VID_40 Connected DHCP 10.20.40.10 255.255.255.0 40/5 AA:AA:AA:AA:AA:AD AlwaysOn
but in bridge mode, a device with VLAN ID 20 to connected to the HG8240 LAN don't receive DHCP lease, at less, not in VLAN 20 but witout VLAN ID (untag), the device connected to LAN receive a dhcp lease in the 192.168.100.0/24 range. I would like to be able to use untag for internet WAN and VLAN 20 for setup box.
I don't see any wan to create VLAN on LAN side and bound it to a WAN so try to use bridge instead but can't make bridge mode work. WAN is connected but the bridge don't seem to past through to the LAN side of the HG8240.
1_VOIP_R_VID_10 Connected DHCP 10.20.10.10 255.255.255.0 10/6 AA:AA:AA:AA:AA:AA AlwaysOn
2_IPTV_B_VID_20 Connected -- -- -- 20/5 -- AlwaysOn
3_INTERNET_R_VID_30 Connected DHCP 10.20.30.10 255.255.255.0 30/0 AA:AA:AA:AA:AA:AC AlwaysOn
4_TR069_R_VID_40 Connected DHCP 10.20.40.10 255.255.255.0 40/5 AA:AA:AA:AA:AA:AD AlwaysOn
I also try to activate L3 work mode on every LAN port and after, bind WAN IPTV with VLAN 20 to LAN 4 and other LANs to WAN Internet with VLAN ID 30 but device with VLAN ID 20 connected to port 4 stuill won't receive a dhcp lease on VLAN 20 but receive dhcp lease without VLAN ID (untag) even in port 4 and can still ping 192.168.100.1.
How bridge mode work for ONT ? Is it possible to create VLAN on LAN side and bound them to a WAN ?
Thanks
