HG8145V5 not working Access point

Good community, I have the Huawei HG8145V5 router, I am trying to use it as an access point, DHCP has already been deactivated and an IP was configured, but it does not work, it does not give an IP and if I enter it manually, it loops and disconnects me at all times

Need Another Firmware?

1. You can restart it and try again.

2. Check whether your user permission meets the requirements. You can log in to the system as an administrator and configure the user. To obtain the account and password, contact your device provider.

3. The HG8145CV5 is a customized device for Telecom carriers. The DHCP function may be disabled. Contact your telecom carrier to apply for activation of this function.

I try to use the Router as an access point to extend my Wi-Fi network to a second floor.
I change the IP of the router, I have disabled the DHCP option, I configure my wifi network, but it does not generate an IP or it does not give me internet

Do you mean you use a router to connect to an eth port of HG8145V5 to coverage the wifi signal on the 2nd floor in this way?

Please contact your ISP to see if there are certain features that are restricted, or have their technicians configure it remotely for you.

lamentablemente en este modem no funciona el DNS cuando intentas usarlo de repetidor solo funciona los puertos lan, el wifi se queda sin acceso al dns

Sorry, I didn't understand your question, because the HG8145V5 is a carrier product.
It is possible that your product is customized. You are advised to contact your local ISP.
