Hello, friend!

By default, the ONT (HG8141) accesses the WebUI through the Ethernet port of the ONT. As an earlier ONT, the ONT (HG8141) cannot access the WebUI through Wi-Fi.

- Wired login

1. Use a network cable to connect the Huawei ONT to your PC

2

2. Set the IP address of the PC in the same subnet as the web address of the Huawei ONT. For example, if the web address of the Huawei ONT is 192.168.100.1 (for the web address of the Huawei ONT, see the product nameplate), the IP address of the PC is 192.168.100.100.

(note: The preceding cable connection diagram and login pages are only for reference, and those of the actual product prevails.)

3. Log in to the web configuration page

a. Open a browser. In the address bar, enter the web address (printed on the nameplate of the Huawei ONT). Press Enter.

b. Enter the login user name and password (printed on the nameplate of the Huawei ONT). Click Log In.

Thanks!

Hello, friend!

To use Wi-Fi to access the device's WebUI, you need to enable devices on the WiFi side to access Web pages on the WebUI page.

HG8141A5

Note that the root account you are using is a common user and cannot be configured. To configure Device Access Control, you need to log in to the device WebUI using the administrator account. Because your device is an ISP series device, we cannot provide you with the administrator account and password. You can get it by contacting your ISP.

Thanks!

Hi, friend!
This function cannot be disabled. If you are connected to the device's Wi-Fi but cannot access the device's WebUI, it is most likely that the IP address obtained by DHCP is not in the same network segment as the IP address of the device. If you need to access the device's Web through Wi-Fi, Then, log in to the device web system using a network cable and set the static IP address 192.168.100.X.
