Hello, friend!


The Huawei EchoLife HG8010H is a bridging-type ONT used in the Huawei all-optical access solution. It implements ultra-broadband access through the GPON technology.


This type of ONT is a GPON ONT and cannot be converted from GPON to EPON due to limited hardware.

The conversion between GPON and EPON requires that the ONT does not have special attributes and the attributes of the optical module connected to the OLT need to be changed at the same time.This feature is not recommended because it has risks.
