HG630 V2 Ingress Bandwidth Control Not Working

Hello, everyone!


I'm trying to limit ingress bandwidth on a MAC address to 10000 Kbps, but speed test results give a download speed above 20 Mbps. Setting upload max works, but setting a max ingress bandwidth doesn't do anything.

Hello, friend!


Since the HG630 V2 is a consumer series device, we are not familiar with the performance and configuration items of the device.


Generally, the bandwidth limit of an ONT on an enterprise network cannot be implemented by the device itself. The rate limit (upstream or downstream) of an ONT needs to be configured and implemented by the upstream device (OLT).


It is recommended that you contact your local ISP for a detailed solution.

You can download the attachment(Download the HedEX tool here to open the attachment: https://support.huawei.com/enterprise/en/bulletins-website/ENEWS1000000152) and set the parameters by referring to the following page:
 
HG630 V2 Bandwidth control-3051011-1
HG630 V2 Bandwidth control-3051011-2
HG630 V2 Bandwidth control-3051011-3
 
You can control the bandwidth of the specified access IP address and MAC address, but cannot control the specified SSID.

This is just a guide. I mean when I open the actual router page (192.168.1.1} and go to bandwidth control to set the ingress bandwidth, it does not work
