ISSUE DESCRIPTION
I have recently updated my HG531 V1 firmware because I wanted to use this router as a WiFi repeater. So far, everything's been OK, but when I tried to log in with the default user password via https://192.168.1.1, it didn't work.
Can anyone help me fix my issue regarding the HG531 updated firmware and default user/pass not working?
POSSIBLE SOLUTION
I have tried to reset the router, but no luck at all :(
Have you tried the password which you have modified?
Alternatively, you can restore the router to its factory settings by pressing and holding the reset button for 6 seconds when the router is being powered on.
