The heat map allows you to view customers' interests in an area more clearly and graphically without data analysis. It is of great value in analyzing the probability of product popping, customer's attention, and duration of stay in business operation. Next, let's learn how to configure it.
The NVR detects user activity information based on user-defined detection areas and displays user distribution by time or space using heat map reports.
Space heat map: displays the activity degree of people in different areas. The red area has the highest density and activity degree, and the blue one has the lowest density.
Time heat map: displays the activity degree of people in different times. The vertical coordinate is an index calculated based on the number of people and duration of stay but does not indicate the number of people. A larger value indicates a higher activity degree.
How to configure the heat map function
If you want to use the heat map function, you should have a Huawei Dxxxx-10 camera, for example: D2141-10-L-P. The intelligent camera used for heat map statistics collection must be equipped with an available SD card. The heat map data will be stored in the SD card and can be stored for a maximum of one year.
Right-click the screen.
Choose Intelligence > Intelligent Settings > Situation Analysis > Heat Map.
Configure a detection area, as shown in the following picture. (A maximum of eight detection areas can be drawn)
(If you want to set an alarm) Configure the alarm.

Right-click the screen.
Choose Intelligence > Statistics Analysis > Heat Map Statistics.
