Symptom
After the user VM restarts, the HDA upgrade fails. After a user clicks Details, the following error message is displayed in the Description column: "The upgrade cannot be performed because the VM internal preventive maintenance tool is stopped."
Possible Causes
BSOD occurs during the VM restart process.
Procedure
Step 1 On the FusionCompute portal, choose VDC Monitoring > Alarms.
Step 2 In Real-Time Alarms, check whether any VM BSOD error exists.
Step 3 Forcibly restart the VM on which BSOD occurs.
Step 4 After the VM starts, restart the VM again.
Step 5 After the VM starts, upgrade the HDA.
