Through this study, we need to have a preliminary understanding of Huawei MS-OTN equipment.
Part 1. product overview
1. The E9624 subrack supports slot splitting. One 11 U slot of the E9624 subrack can be split into two 5.5 U slots.
2. The OSN 9800 Universal Platform Subrack (OSN 9800 UPS) and OptiX OSN 1800 series support both DC and AC power supplies.
3. The OptiXtrans E9600 supports Super C, a maximum of 120 wavelengths, a channel spacing of 50 GHz. Up to 48T/fiber capacity, 60 wavelengths x 800G, the channel spacing of 50 GHz 100 GHz.
4. The OptiXtrans E6600 supports Ultra-broadband access of 1.5 Mbit/s to 100 Gbit/s services, including PCM, PDH, SDH, OTN, and packet services.
5. The OptiX OSN 9800 is mainly used at the backbone/core layer, the OptiXtrans E9600 is mainly used at the metro/aggregation layer, and the OptiXtrans E9600 is mainly used at the Edge/Access layer.
6. Huawei OptiXtrans DC908 can be widely applied in highly digitalized industries and enterprise DCI scenarios
7. OptiXtrans DC908 supports optical-electrical integration: Optical-layer and electrical-layer boards are deployed in the same subrack, halving the required space. These boards suit IT and CT equipment rooms and can be deployed with IT devices in the same cabinet.
8. OptiXtrans DC908 supports five automatic processes, including fiber auto-discovery, fiber connection auto-verification, wavelength auto-configuration, optical-layer auto-commissioning, and service auto-adaptation, which are used to implement one-click automatic deployment and intelligent commissioning in seconds.
Part 2. Cabinets and Subracks
1. The E6616 chassis supports MS-OTN-based universal service grooming. According to the planned chassis capability, a single chassis supports a maximum of 2.8 Tbit/s OTN capacity 160 Gbit/s SDH higher-order capacity, and 20 Gbit/s SDH lower-order capacity.
2. The E9624 subrack supports two cross-connect modes: 1:1(One active and one standby) and 1:3(three active and one standby, Which have larger cross-connect capacity). The two modes differ in the number of cross-Cconnectboards number of available slots for service boards, cross-connect capacity, and application scenarios.

3. The E9624 subrack supports grooming of ODUKk (k = 0, 1 2 2e, 3, 4, or flex),VC-3/VC-4/VC-12, and packet services.
