Hello everyone!
Welcome to the Access Network HCIA Learning Class.
Today, we will continue to learn about Vectoring.
Vectoring Application Deployment
Scenario 1 - All Vectoring CPE (deal)
Ideal Scenario
Ideal deployment scenarios to provide the best performance

Scenario 2 (Real Network) - Vectoring and VDSL2 CPE Hybrid

VDSL2 & Vectoring CPE hybrid
VDSL2 CPE’s crosstalk leads to limited bandwidth increase of Vectoring lines
Compare to Vectoring CPE, the VDSL CPE can not send a test signal to CO in the upstream direction, also can not feedback the crosstalk signal to CO in the downstream direction, so the speed can not increase for the VDSL line, and also will impact the Vectoring lines.
If CPE does not Support Vectoring

'Smart Limit + Force Friendly' Solution for Legacy CPE

PSD: Power Spectrum Density
FFM: Force Friendly Mode
FFM has no function for upstream because VDSL CPE can not send a test signal to CO
AutoSense - Solution for Vectoring and VDSL2 CPE Hybrid
Solution: use autosensing Vectoring service board.

Vectoring service board supports the AutoSence feature.
AutoSense can support Force friendly mode and make VDSL2 CPE’s crosstalk has nearly no interference to Vectoring lines.
The autosensing Vectoring board can eliminate the crosstalk through the algorithm, and increase the Vectoring speed, and almost equal to VDSL2 speed.
Scenario 3 - Board
Problem
VDSL2 & Vectoring board hybrid used
VDSL2's crosstalk leads to limited bandwidth increase of Vectoring lines
Solution
Use autosensing Vectoring service board.

The crosstalk of the VDSL line can not be eliminated, it will reduce the speed for Vectoring lines.
Scenario 4 - Device (1 )
Ideal Scenario

Problem
VDSL2 and Vectoring device hybrid

Vectoring Application Deployment
When VDSL2 DSLAM and Vectoring DSLAM hybrid is used, the VDSL2 line will cause crosstalk to SLV Vectoring line, and SLV can not eliminate the crosstalk.
Scenario 4 - Device (2)
Solution
Change the VDSL2 DSLAM to SLV, and separate the copper bundle
The crosstalk between two copper bundles is very small and can be ignorable.

Scenario 5 - Site (1)
Problem
SLV can not eliminate the crosstalk from the lines that do not connect to itself.

Scenario 5 - Site (2)
Solution
NLV can eliminate the crosstalk by sharing the crosstalk information between SLVs, eliminating the crosstalk between the lines maximizing performance, and thus protecting the investment.

Access Network HCIA Course Series will be continuously updated.
