Fault symptom:
In a project, the customer reported that the AC wiring terminal of an inverter was burnt, but the AC voltage of the inverter was normal.
Fault location:
As shown in the preceding figure, the fire occurs in phase A on the AC side. The copper lugs of phase A wiring terminals are different from those of phase B and phase C wiring terminals. The AC terminal block of other inverters is not the original terminal block.
Process
According to the photos, the AC terminal block of the SUN2000L was not the original one and was replaced onsite. The SUN2000L had been running for a long period of time, causing poor contact of phase A wire, causing heat and fire.
If the original components of the inverter are faulty and damaged, you are advised to purchase the original parts of the inverter from Huawei to reduce further faults caused by poor contact or incompatibility due to different specifications of the spare parts.
