I have a HG659.but thare is no INTERNET LED.i think it’s automatically changed to copper version. So i need to change the firmware for copper to fiber and How to Download Firmware ?

The HG659 is a VDSL home gateway. I don't think you can change the inherent properties of the product by upgrading the firmware, 


In addition, the HG659 is a carrier's product.

The forum cannot provide you with the firmware update. You can obtain the firmware update using the following methods:

  • If you are an ISP (Internet Service Provider), please contact the  Carrier TAC.

  • If you are a device user, please contact your ISP or device provider.
