This topic describes the hardware self-check of eSpace 7910 and 7950.
If you have observed any unusual behaviour on your IP phone, before reporting it or instantly assuming that it needs to be changed perform the below phone hardware self-check.
The self-check helps agents and enterprise administrators determine whether there is a hardware-related fault concerning the IP phone, thus affecting the necessity to return the IP phone for repairs.
1. Choose Advanced > Diagnose on the LCD as an administrator.
2. Perform the IP phone self-check as prompted.
3. Self-check items include the Screen, Backlight, LEDs, Microphone, and System.
