Hello everyone!

How to identify the fault when HARD_BAD alarm reported by the GSCC board of an OptiX OSN 1500B, with the alarm parameters 0x07 0xff 0xff 0xff

For the HARD_BAD alarm reporting by the SCC board, if Parameter 1 does not equal 0xff, Parameter 1 indicated the slot ID of the board whose 2k or 8k is broken. It indicates the slot ID of the board that reports the alarm.

In this example, as can be seen in the picture below, slot 7 is the board R2PD1.

In this situation, this board could be faulty, so we suggest a cold reset. If the alarm persists, the R2PD1 board needs to be replaced.
