Hi, guys!
Have a nice day to you!
This topic describes the method for handling image blur problems of manual zoom-lens box cameras.
Manual zoom-lens box cameras include IPC6125_WDL_P and IPC6125_WDL_D.
Solution
Adjust the focus knob of the lens
If a manual zoom lens is used, you can use the focus knob of the lens to adjust the image definition.
Loosen the knob on the zoom ring (with two labels T and W), and screw the zoom ring in the T direction to the utmost and then in the W direction until you obtain the desired video effects. Then, tighten the knob.
Loosen the knob on the zoom ring (with two labels T and W), and screw the zoom ring in the T direction to the utmost and then in the W direction until you obtain the desired video effects. Then, tighten the knob.
Press the ABF button on the back panel of the camera. Then, the camera automatically adjusts the back focus.
If the video image becomes clear, no further action is required.
If the video image is still blurry, go to the next step.
Check whether the C- or CS-Mount lens is incorrectly used
Lenses can be classified into C-mount and CS-mount lens. If a C-mount lens is to be installed in the CS mount, a C/CS adapter must be used. Otherwise, a fault may occur on the camera.
Check whether the lens mount matches the camera.
If a C-mount lens is to be installed in the CS mount, a C/CS adapter must be used, as shown in the picture.

If a C-mount lens is used and the camera mount is of the C type, go the next step.
If a CS-mount lens is used and the camera mount is of the CS type, go the next step.
Check whether the camera lens is blocked
Image blur will occur when the camera lens is blocked by an object.
Check whether the camera lens is blocked by an object onsite.
If yes, remove the object.
If not, go to the next step.
Check whether the video image is clear.
If yes, no further action is required.
If not, go to the next step.
Adjust the camera surveillance distance
If the distance between a camera and an monitored object is less than the minimum surveillance distance, the camera lens cannot be focused, resulting in image blur.
Check the distance between the camera and the monitored object on the site or through live video.
If the distance between the camera and the monitored object is less than the minimum surveillance distance, adjust the camera installation angle or location to enable that the distance between the camera and the monitored object is greater than the minimum surveillance distance.
If the distance between the camera and the monitored object is greater than the minimum surveillance distance, go to the next step.
Check whether the video image is clear.
If yes, no further action is required.
If not, collect logs and contact Huawei technical support engineers for assistance. For details about how to collect logs, see Collecting Information and Seeking Technical Support.
Adjust the lens aperture
A too large or too small aperture may result in image blur.
Video live video from the camera.
If the image brightness is too high, loosen the knob on the aperture ring, narrow the aperture to obtain your desired video effects, and then tighten the knob.
If the image brightness is too low, loosen the knob on the aperture ring, enlarge the aperture to obtain your desired video effects, and then tighten the knob.
Check whether the video image is clear.
If yes, no further action is required.
If not, collect logs and contact Huawei technical support engineers for assistance. For details about how to collect logs, see Collecting Information and Seeking Technical Support.
Collect information and seeking technical support
You can collect logs and provide information to Huawei engineers to seek technical support.
