Handling Device Alarms

You can view the current alarm and query alarm information through the NMS on the C/S client.

1. Log in to the IVS client as the admin user, double-click NMS and access the Alarms tab page.
2. Click the Current Alarm tab, as shown in Figure 2, or click the Search for Alarms tab, as shown in Figure 3.

3. Set search criteria.
4. Click Search. Alarms that meet the search criteria are displayed in the alarm list.
5. Double-click an alarm in the alarm list or click a hyperlink of the alarm type in the alarm information to view alarm details, as shown in Figure 4.

6. Click Check Details. Alarm handling suggestions are displayed, providing guidance for users to handle alarms.
