Hi team, here's a new guide about how to check the storage-side latency.
1 Viewing the I/O Latency Using the Performance Monitoring Tool
Step 1:
Log in to DeviceManager, click Settings on the right, click Performance Monitoring Settings, and click Enable.
Step 2:
Log in to DeviceManager and click the Monitor icon on the right.
Step 3:
On the monitoring page, click Performance Monitoring (V2 or V3 series storage) or System Reporter (high-end) to access the performance statistics function.
Step 4:
1. Click Icon Switch to switch to the multi-image mode.
2. Select the controller to be monitored in Object Type.
3. Select the controller to be viewed.
4. Select Advanced for Data Type.
5. Select Average I/O Response Time (ms).
2 Run the show performance command on the CLI to check the I/O latency (SAN).
1. Enter the CLI mode of the storage system.

2. Run the show performance command on the CLI.
This function allows you to view the performance attributes of controllers, LUNs, storage pools, and ports. You can view Average I/O Latency (ms) or read and write I/O latency.
Note: You can view LUN information only on the owning controller of the LUN. For example, if LUN 1 belongs to controller A, you need to view LUN information on controller A.

Thank you.
