Today, I'd like to share a case with you.
Problem Description
There is a minishelter MTS9510A with OSN 9800 installed inside.
In this minishelter don't have rectifier and OSN 9800 is a slave subrack
Customer require us to set Door Alarm minishelter to be generated in the OSN 9800 as condition for acceptance
Problem Analysis
Step 1 : make sure LAN cable is STRAIGHT with wiring cable :
Orange - White Orange
Green - White Green
Blue - White Blue
Brown - White Brown
Step 2 : open the Blue cover Subrack OSN 9800
Step 3 : connect LAN cable to ALMI 1 port
Step 4 : on NMS, at EFI board and at General attribute option, enable the 1st Auxiliary Alarm Output
Step 5 : Choose Input Relay option, and set Using status become USED and alarm mode "An Alarm is Generated if the Relay Turn ON and High level is caused"
Step 6 : At other side LAN cable, need cut off the RJ-45 connector
Step 7 : Test the alarm by doing loop cable (detail ini attachment)
Step 8 : Choose Alarm severity
Step 9 : Rename the alarm by right click at EFI board and choose Path-View
Root Cause
No root cause. Only Guide how to set door alarm minishetler on OSN 9800 slave subrack (without rectifier or EMUA)
Solution Description
Connect Door Sensor alarm with LAN cable that connect to ALMI 1 port OSN 9800
To have better response in alarm trigger, it is suggest to use OptiX Navigator Software rather than U2000 / NCE.
Command Navigator to check the alarm is
