HiCoins as reward: 0 (problem unresolved)

Hi

I have set my inverter to Grid connected with zero power, closed loop to Inverter (as only one inverter) and total power.

My understanding is that I will now not export energy to the grid, which for the moment is what I want.

Before on a sunny day I would be getting, at peak time, about 5.5Kw output from my PV panels, which is as expected.

The power reading on the FusionSolar App would run to the house load to supply demand and also send the balance to the grid.  All as expected.

After setting Grid connected with zero power the power reading on the fusionSolar app shows a much reduced PV panel production even at peak sun where normally I am normally getting 5.5 Kw, now only getting what the house hold load requires.

My question is, is the FusionSolar App only showing the power used or demanded and not the amount of energy in total being made from the PV panels?

I notice if the household load increases so does the amount of power the panels produce accordingly.

Presumable the power generated and not being used in someway is not recorded or am I understanding it wrong?

Hello, friend.

Yes. Normally you set zero power grid connection, power will not be on the grid. As you can see in the figure, Consumption is the amount of power consumed by your load. Yield is the total PV energy yield.

Hi Thank you for your answer, just to clarify, the Yield shown in Image Grid1 is only the yield that was demanded by the household load, and not the overall energy which the panels could of or did produced during the day. So on a 5Kw system about 5kw per hour at peak times, if the household load is 2kw that's all that the inverter will provide and the real production is unregistered.
