Hello ,


How can we disable Graceful resart for certain peers for Huawei Cloud Engine 6730.


Google saying enable GR for their bgp and Facebook saying disable GR for their bgp how can we achieve this ?


waiting for any solution for this.

Hello Nancy1996,
First of all, GR helps two routers rebuild the BGP peers while the BGP process restart. I'm not sure why you want to enable that for only one specific peer.
From the documentation, S6730 doesn't support specifying a GR feature for a specific BGP peer. You can only set the GR feature for all the peers. This is the closest way that I can figure out.

We have 15 Peers, We want to enable GR for only one peer. How can we do that ?

[RTR-bgp]peer 103.xxx.xxx.16 capability-advertise ?
4-byte-as 4-byte-as capability
conventional Conventional Router
route-refresh Route refresh capability

i have gone through the document that you have shared but there is no option of Graceful restart in capability-advertise on my core router.
